FAQ

What kind of audio do you make?

Custom music and sound design for podcasts — intros and outros, audio branding, bed music, and sound effects. Everything is original, written specifically for your show.

Do you use stock music or templates?

No. Every piece is composed from scratch for your project. You won't hear your intro on anyone else's show.

What does the process look like?

We start with a brief conversation about your show — its tone, audience, and what you're going for. From there we deliver an initial concept, refine based on your feedback, and hand off final files in any format you need.

How many revisions are included?

Unlimited, until it's right.

Who owns the music?

You do. Every project comes with a full commercial license.

What formats do you deliver?

Whatever you need — MP3, WAV, stems, alternate cuts. Just ask.

How do I get started?

Fill out the contact form at nearestcreative.com and describe your show — the genre, tone, and what you're going for. We'll follow up to schedule a brief conversation and go from there.

How much does custom podcast music cost?

$125 per 10 seconds of finished audio, across all services. A 30-second intro plus a matching 30-second outro is $750. A full audio branding package — typically 5 to 10 stingers and transitions — runs $375–$625. A 60-second loopable bed track is $750. Sound design projects are scoped in advance so you know the total before work begins.

What's the difference between audio branding and a podcast intro?

A podcast intro is a single piece of music that plays at the start of each episode. Audio branding is a complete sonic identity system — the intro may be part of it, but branding also includes stingers, ad bumpers, transition sounds, and recurring musical motifs used throughout every episode.

What is podcast bed music?

Bed music (also called underscore) is low-key instrumental music that plays beneath a host's voice during commentary, interviews, or monologues. It's mixed specifically to leave headroom for speech — adding energy and warmth without competing with the dialogue.

How long does it take to get custom podcast music?

A typical intro and outro takes about one to two weeks from brief to final files. A full audio branding package may take two to three weeks, depending on scope. Timelines are confirmed at the start of your project.

Do I need to credit Nearest Creative when I use the music?

No. The commercial license covers full use under your show's name. There's no attribution requirement.
